Jozi Skyline

I did a little 'photo tour' with some friends while in Joburg last month. The city centre has changed quite a bit over the past few years, with some funky little coffee shops, markets and arty spots cropping up all over the place. Very cool. There may be hope for Jozi yet. ;-)

We also trekked out to the Orlando Towers for lunch (Shisa Nyama style), got a little lost, and watched some crazy people bungee jump. The food was fantastic and cheap. The company was great.

The main thing I wanted to get out of the day was a nice shot of the Johannesburg skyline, which we got from the top of The Parktonian: 360 degree view of the CBD and surrounds - it was perfect. Here are two of my drawings from the day's photos. Just accepted on iStock.
